About Joseph Andress
Joseph Andress is a staff writer from the United States. His specialties include Mortal Kombat lore, canceled Star Wars projects, and anything with LEGO in its name.
Favorite Games
Mario Kart: Double Dash, Pokemon SoulSilver, BioShock Infinite, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017), Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Metroid Dread make up just a few of my favorite games. Some of these titles hold fond childhood memories, while others I consider to be modern masterpieces. Mario Kart: Double Dash gets special treatment as my first video game ever.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
My proudest gaming achievement remains defeating Iudex Gundyr from Dark Souls 3 on the first try. It was my first time playing a Soulsborne game, and I was very intimidated by the prospect of taking it on. To my surprise, however, I got through the first boss unscathed. All future boss battles, unfortunately, did not go as well.
Favorite Console
Though the Nintendo GameCube was my first video game console, the Nintendo Wii takes home the honor of being my favorite. From its long list of classic titles, to the personal memories I forged playing with family, the Nintendo Wii is without a doubt the most important console of my lifetime.
