About Erin Rice

Erin Rice is a Writing Specialist from the United States. She has a Master of Arts in Composition and Rhetoric and works as a professor and Academic Success Coach, teaching students about writing and how to be successful in academia. Additionally, she works with the Good Gamer Group on some of their video game tests. She has been writing about video games for a couple of years and has written for DualShockers and now The Best War Games.

She focuses on PC, Nintendo and PlayStation games, but she loves all platforms. She is also an expert in RPGs, World of Warcraft, The Legend of Zelda, and Baldur's Gate 3.

Favorite Games

My top genres to play are RPGs and Strategy games. My favorite games include World of Warcraft, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Baldur's Gate 3.  I love these games because of the RPG elements. I love diving into a game and becoming someone else for a short time.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

My proudest gaming achievement is that I have gotten every Baldur's Gate 3  trophy in the game on my PlayStation, which was one of the most time-consuming (but worth it) things I've ever done.

Favorite Console

My favorite console is either the N64 or the PlayStation One. These were the first two consoles I owned, and I feel a lot of nostalgia for them. I remember playing games like Mario 64, Pokemon Stadium, and The Legend of Zelda  on the N64. The PlayStation One holds classics like Banjo-Kazooie, Final Fantasy VII,  and Tomb Raider.
