About Ediz Guner
As a diehard enthusiast of video games, Ediz Guner has been attentively following the ebbs and flows of the gaming industry for a long period of time. This, coupled with his hobby of extensively researching video game history, has become an addiction of his; so much so to the point where he's practically transformed into a walking, talking gaming encyclopedia over the years. Fortunately, he's been putting this habit of his to good use by writing for The Best War Games.
Ediz's undying passion for video games has been present in him ever since he was a little kid. From the moment he got his hands on a Nintendo DS Lite and experienced forgotten gems like Pokemon Rangers, Spectrobes, Elite Beat Agents, and Scurge: Hive, he fell in love with gaming.
Favorite Games
I play games in a wide variety of genres, but I always like a good story-driven singleplayer title, especially if it's an FPS, a hack-and-slash, an RPG, or a JRPG.
Some of my favorite video games of all time include Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations, Fallout: New Vegas, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Pokemon Black and White, Death Stranding, Lost Odyssey, Far Cry 3, Mirror's Edge, Fable 2, and God of War 3.
Favorite Console
It's hard to decide, but if I had to choose, my favorite console of all time is probably the Nintendo DS, mainly for nostalgia purposes and for the insane lineup of underrated games it has. When it comes to current-gen hardware, though, the console I like using the most is the Xbox Series S.
In terms of favorite console generation, though, that'd have to go to the PS3/Xbox 360 era.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
I'm probably most proud of the multiple skins and datapacks I made for Minecraft back in the day.
