About Daniel Morris
Daniel is a News Writer from the United Kingdom. Relatively new to the industry with just over three years of experience, he has focused on establishing himself in the gaming space, with bylines in other sites such as CheatCC and Destructoid.
While he focuses on open-world titles and RPGs, he also takes a keen interest in the eSports scene, which he feels will only continue to grow over the next few years.
His gaming history spans over two decades, and he's been playing for as long as he could hold a controller. Nowadays, he's more adept with a mouse and keyboard in hand, and can usually be found playing Counter-Strike when not writing.
Industry Focus
My industry focus is heavily on role-playing games of all types. I also have a deep interest in video game modding, and am fascinated by the impact it has had on the overall industry.
Favorite Console
While I'm exclusively a PC gamer at present, nothing quite tops the nostalgia of the Xbox 360. Booting up Halo 3 back in 2007 for some Slayer on High Ground just hit different. There's no game before or since that has managed to quite capture the same feeling, and it's all down to the Xbox 360.
Favorite Games
If I had to pick a top five, it would be Red Dead Redemption 2, Halo 3, Mass Effect 2, Counter-Strike 2, and Fallout 3 - in that order. While Counter-Strike takes up a lot of my time nowadays, I'm always on the lookout for the next great RPG to sink my teeth into.
