About Chris Littlechild
Chris Littlechild (He/Him) is an Editor and Writer Trainer from the United Kingdom. He has been gaming since receiving an original Game Boy and copies of Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins for the holidays at a tender age. He's been working in the industry for almost as long, writing, editing and training writers for DualShockers, TheGamer, TheBestWarGames, ScreenRant, WhatCulture, Ripley's Believe It Or Not! and many more.
Industry Focus
Chris is the List and Guide writer Trainer at DualShockers, having created the extensive range of training materials the project is based on. He also curates the range of resources the rest of the wonderful team have made, to ensure writers have access to all the support and guidance they need during training and beyond.
Favorite Games
Chris' game of 2024 is Unicorn Overlord. His favorite game of all time is Gunstar Heroes, with Final Fantasy 9, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 4, Child of Light, Bloodborne and Dungeon Keeper appearing elsewhere in his top ten.
His favorite genres are RPG, roguelike, and the classic 3D platformer, but he likes to make a point of diversifying his tastes.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
Chris defeated Emerald Weapon in Final Fantasy 7 at the age of 12 before any of his friends, and was far too excited to tell them about it at school that Monday.
More than two decades later, he would earn Bloodborne's platinum trophy, savoring that last trophy pop sound down in the bowels of the Chalice Dungeons on Queen Yharnam's defeat.
