About Anthony Bussing
Anthony Bussing (he/him) is a Gaming Features Writer from Michigan. Anthony has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in Journalism, achieved in 2022, from Adrian College, specifically to pursue a career in gaming journalism. Anthony was born in late 1999, playing video games all throughout his life. Throughout undergraduate school, Anthony wrote for the local student newspaper covering diverse news content as both a staff writer and editor, and in his last year of studies, he pursued an opportunity to manage social media content for the school’s emergent esports team. Also, during undergraduate school, Anthony briefly contributed to and edited a student literary magazine featuring local creative writing and art.
Favorite Games
Anthony's favorite game of all time is easily Fallout 76, due to his existing appreciation for the franchise and the kind community of Vault Dwellers that inhabit the Appalachian wasteland. Beyond this, Anthony's other favorite games include Baldur's Gate 3, Dark Souls 3, Dishonored, Elden Ring, Halo: Reach, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and 7 Days To Die.
Favorite Console
Anthony grew up playing the Nintendo Gamecube with his siblings, and when it came time to choose between Xbox and PlayStation, he went with Xbox solely to stay connected with his friends. Currently, Anthony's favorite and primary gaming platform is his PC. Anthony also frequently plays games on a Nintendo Switch, Occulus Meta Quest 2 VR, and his Android phone.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
Anthony started playing Fallout 76 on PC in 2021, and since then, Anthony has put hundreds of hours into Fallout 76 as it slowly became his favorite game of all time, where he has met some of his best friends. Anthony's main character in Fallout 76 is well beyond level 1,000 by now. Next stop, level 2,000!
