First, players will need to learn how to play Wordle. The game is fairly simple to learn. Here is a quick breakdown of the rules.

First, head to the New York Times Games Wordle website. While the NYTs didn't invent it, the newspaper giant did purchase Wordle back in February 2022. The game is still hosted on its Games website to this day. There are loads of copycats out there, but this is the original and the subject of everything in this article.

Head to the NYTs Wordle website.
Choose a starting Wordle word.
Starting words should be five letters long, a real English word, and should contain a variety of common letters like L, R, or S.
Type the starting word into the site and press enter.
The letters of the chosen word will change colors, and each color will give clues as to the real answer of the day.
Green letters are correct; gray are incorrect. If the letter turns yellow, the letter is right, but it is in the wrong position in the word.
Using these clues, choose another word and type it into the next row of the Wordle grid. Press enter, and the letters will once again change colors.
Keep trying new words and studying the clues they give until the correct answer is guessed, or the players run out of their six total guesses.
