About Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK
Ending the Franchise in Cinematic Fashion
Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK hit US and Canadian cinemas on February 10 and was the first time the Attack on Titan franchise ever hit the big screen. Yuichiro Hayashi served as director, with scripts by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Tomohiro Kishi, music by KOHTA YAMAMOTO and Hiroyuki Sawano. The film pulls together content from Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS parts 1 and 2, which originally aired in March and November 2023 respectively. THE LAST ATTACK contains some additional content, including a new post-credits scene based on the "Attack on Titan School Castes" alternative-universe short manga that came at the end of each volume of Hajime Isayama's original manga, which was published in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The first season of Attack on Titan aired from April to September 2013. The second came after a four-year wait in April 2017, followed by the two-part third season in July 2018 and April 2019. Attack on Titan: The Final Season began airing in December 2020 and had a number of comically conclusive installments before THE FINAL CHAPTERS aired in 2023.
Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK is now available to stream on Crunchyroll.
