Attack on Titan became a sensational hit, hooking millions of fans with its brutal action and mind-bending mystery, wrapped into a perfectly paced series. Created by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan took viewers on a ride through a war-torn world where a secluded island's natives clash with hordes of supernatural beasts called Titans.
As they try to liberate themselves, a mysterious plot unravels the truth of their history and the existence of the rest of the world. Among the bizarre and grotesque Titans, nine subtypes can be inherited by people who come with special abilities and traits. Those who inherit these unique Titans' lives are cut in half in exchange for unimaginable power. Here are some characters in Attack on Titan who would have made powerful inheritor titans.
Gabbi Braun
The Skilled Loyalist
Gabi is one of the most controversial characters in Attack on Titan, who enraged anime fans all over the world after taking the life of Sasha after the attack on Marley. Gabi was a child soldier in the Marleyan army and was most likely a future candidate to become a warrior and inherit one of the Nine Titans of power.
Gabi was a capable fighter who took to war and combat as if it were second nature. Her skill was only eclipsed by her dedication to her country's cause. Gabi would have made an incredibly dangerous Titan, similar to Annie but with more drive.
Floch Forster
The Dedicated Right Hand
Floch's pivotal role during the final season of Attack on Titan elevated his character and had a significant impact on the story as he became a Jaegerist marching in Eren's fife. Finding a cause to give his heart to, Floch was an incredibly skilled fighter, and while not very prominent, his commitment echoed through the story. Floch would have been the perfect partner for Eren had he become the Jaw Titan, providing brilliant support and ensuring Eren's success even at the cost of his life. Floch's unyielding conviction during the end and the ability to impact the battle with the maneuverability of the Jaw Titan or the durability of the Armored Titan would have been unstoppable.
Dot Pyxis
The Wiseman Of Paradis
Officer Pyxis was a prominent character in the early season of Attack on Titan, being a walking pillar of wisdom who handled every situation with patience and poise. While clearly a man who had seen quite a bit in his time, he was past his prime but still a formidable opponent, both mentally and physically.
While Pyxis' final moments were tragic, the possibility of him becoming an inheritor titan would have dramatically impacted Paradis' strength. A Beast Titan with the experience of Commander Pyxis may have been even more of a threat than Zeke Jaeger.
Theo Magath
A Man Of Pure War
Theo Magath was a dedicated and loyal soldier of the Marleyan regime and a high-ranking general who was fierce and ruthless on the battlefield. Theo had the wit and cunning to make strategic decisions count in the heat of battle and the skill to see them through as a unit or solo.
Theo was an essential component of the tactical capabilities of both soldiers and the titans. Surprisingly, Theo was not chosen to be one of the Inheritor Titans of Marley. However, had he been the colossal titan or the armored titan, Eren and the rest of the scouts would have had a much more difficult fight on their hands.
Levi Ackerman
The World's Greatest Soldier
Levi is a character who needs no introduction; from the very first time he appeared in the series, his presence echoed off the screen as a member of the main cast. Levi is perhaps the most skilled scout in the entire regiment, who has cut down countless titans, mostly without breaking a sweat.
Levi possesses the talent, physical capabilities, and focus that would turn an inheritor titan into a serious problem. The majority of the Titans would have suited Levi well, with his understanding of combat and no hesitation in delivering the final blow; Levi would have been a force of nature and hated every minute of it.
Hange Zoe
The Titan Fanatic

Hange's journey in Attack on Titan is a fan favorite but also one of the most tragic stories in the series. Lead researcher of the Scout Regiment turned commander, Hange devoted her life to the freedom of mankind and sought to liberate them from the walls that kept them safe by learning everything she could about titans.
Bordering on insanity, Hange knew titans inside and out and had a level of respect for them that would have made her an excellent inheritor. Hange would have been able to bring out her Titans' full potential after taking the time to understand their limitations and potential.
Erwin Smith
The Greatest Leader Of All Mankind
Commander Erwin was the esteemed thirteenth leader of the Scout Regiment and a forward-thinking genius who sought to lead humanity into a new era. Erwin tackled the unknown without fear or hesitation and carried the weight of the future on his shoulders. With an incredible mind for strategy and tactics, Erwin would have dominated as an inheritor Titan. A man of true focus and precision, Erwin was most suited for the Beast Titan or Colossal Titan, creating organized destruction to free Paradis Island and learn the truth alongside his comrades.
