There are three secret planets in the Gorilla Nebula, which Astro Bot players will need to find in order to fully complete the area. Each secret stage has a single cameo Bot at the end of it and can be completed relatively quickly, with the first two being especially easy.

Most of the Astro Bot cameo characters are pretty easy to identify, but there are a few VIP Bots who are obscure and thus can be difficult to place.

The trickiest part is figuring out how to unlock these secret areas, as the game never really explains that they exist. The first hint that most Astro Bot players will get is when they see that they only have 39 out of 42 Bots for the Gorilla Nebula, which should prompt them to track down the missing ones.

How to Unlock the Crumble Rumble 1 Secret Stage

To unlock Crumble Rumble 1, players will need to crash into the asteroid that appears near the Apes on the Loose planet. To complete it, they'll need to use Astro's boost to kill the three electric enemies while avoiding the holes that appear in the ground. Once all of the enemies have been taken care of, a platform will appear with an MLB The Show cameo Bot on it, which players can then collect to finish the stage.

How to Unlock the Retro Rampage 1 Secret Stage

If players fly their ship into the blue and purple stars to the left of the Mighty Chewy boss planet, a ring of asteroids will show up beneath them. If they then use their ship to quickly destroy all of these asteroids, the Retro Rampage 1 planet will appear. To complete the stage, they'll just need to kill all of the rabbit enemies by punching them when they stop bouncing. Doing so will unlock a cameo Bot based on Ryu from Capcom's Street Fighter series.

How to Unlock the Rolling Star Sola Secret Stage

Players can unlock the final Gorilla Nebula secret stage by crashing into the asteroid that appears on the left-hand side of the nebula. To complete it, they'll need to punch the blue beetle and then jump on its back and ride it to the end of the stage. Once there, they'll see a flying enemy carrying a cameo Bot based on Toro Inoue from the Doko Demo Issyo series, at which point, they'll need to press Square to fire the beetle at the enemy, which will allow them to rescue the Bot.
