Ubisoft recently announced a new crossover storyline between their two latest Assassin’s Creed games: Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Players of both games now have access to a new storyline that connects the main characters of both games. In both worlds, players get to travel to a new island and take on a handful of additional quests.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey's side of the Those Who Are Treasured crossover story is now open, but requires a few boxes to be checked first. Fortunately, those players looking to launch this new questline can rely on this guide for help.
How to Launch Those Who Are Treasured
Before players attempt to launch this quest in Assassin's Creed Odyssey there are a few requirements of which they need to be aware. First off, players need to have completed the first chapter in the game, including reaching Megaris, the location of the first major land conflict.
This is just the minimum requirement before the game allows this new quest to be launched, however, and those who have recently gotten into the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey should hold off before trying out this storyline. Unfortunately, "Those Who Are Treasured" will spoil late-game content and it is recommended that players complete the three main story arcs (Family, Cult of Cosmos, and Mythology) in the game before playing this DLC.
Either way, for those Assassin's Creed Odyssey players who want to get into this new piece of content, they need to head to the island the game starts on. Back on Kephallonia Island, at the northeastern port on the island, there is a new NPC with which players can interact. The game will notify players of a new quest called "A Great Escape" and this will deliver a quest marker that points to the dock where this NPC now stands.
Talking with this NPC will give players the option to launch the new quest and bring players to a new island as well as answer some long-standing questions in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla.
Questlines in Those Who Are Treasured
The Assassin's Creed Odyssey piece of the "Those Who Are Treasured" DLC begins with the questline "A Great Escape." This is launched by talking with the woman on the dock on Kephallonia but eventually leads to a number of different quests:
- No Rest For the Misthios
- Not All Treasures Should be Found
- A Message Delivered
- Power Corrupts All
- A New Horizon
These quests bring players across the new island where players follow a storyline that eventually ties the game to Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Players also have the option to complete A Kind of Treasure Hunt side quest with this Assassin's Creed Odyssey DLC that takes them all over Korfu.
