How to Level Up and Promote Your Characters in Arknights Endfield

Once you can create explosives, upgrade weapons, and fix the comms node in the Rally and Unite quest, the Westward Into the Vale quest begins. Completing it lets you reach the Valley Pass (a new area of Valley IV) and move further into the story.
How to Complete Westward into the Vale Quest in Arknights Endfield
Your first task in the Westward Into the Vale quest is to head to the Bridge Approach. It’s located near your Core AIC Area, so teleport there from the map and follow the objective marker.
Once you arrive, a cutscene shows a clan of Landbreakers guarding the passage. Defeat them one by one, and make sure to use team combos for stronger attacks.
The Landbreakers Chief is especially tough to take down, so having healing items and strong Operators on your team helps a lot. Don’t hesitate to use the Gacha system to pull new Operators; getting a six-star early can save plenty of time in combat.
After the fight ends, you’ll notice the bridge’s elevator is raised, blocking access to Valley Pass. It’s likely damaged because the Lbs stripped off its panel.
Head to the nearby bridge switch and interact with it, then select “Repair.” The switch won’t work, though, hinting that it lacks electricity.
So, your next objective is to charge the switch, allowing the bridge to lower and open the way to the Valley Pass.
How to Transmit Power to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus
Just like in the Valley Reboot quest, you’ll need to use Relay Towers to create a chain of power from your hub area to the Bridge Approach Electric Nexus, so the switch can run properly.
To do this, head back to the Core AIC Area, open the backpack, and drag and drop Relay Towers from there at multiple points along the path toward the bridge switch. For easier setup, place one Relay Tower near the Bridge Approach (on the grass) and another on the road just outside the area where you fought the Landbreakers.
Next, engage with PAC (the main electricity source in your hub) and select “Start Transmission”, then run to the first Relay Tower you placed and choose “Plug Transmission Cable” to connect them. Interact with that Relay Tower one more time, start transmission from there, then link the cable into the second Relay Tower.
Finally, begin power transmission from the second tower and attach the cable to the Electric Nexus.
Once that’s done, use the bridge switch to lower the passage. This ends the Westward Into the Vale quest in Arknights Endfield and rewards you with weapons, EXP, Origeometry, and more.
