Using Sanity in Arknights: Endfield should quickly become one of your daily tasks, as it's a great way to raise both your Operators' combat capabilities, and your Authority Level. You can also spend items and currency to recover Sanity instantly, so you can continue to farm these resources — but some of these methods are worse than others.
So to help you out, we've explained everything you need to know about Sanity in Arknights: Endfield, from how to use Sanity, to how to raise maximum Sanity, to how to get Sanity.

How to Get Sanity in Arknights Endfield
Here's all the ways you can get more Sanity in Arknights Endfield:
- Recover one Sanity point every seven minutes for free
- Use Sanity Syrup to recover 40 Sanity
- Use Emergency Sanity Booster to recover 40 Sanity
- Use Origeometry to Recover 40 points per one Origeometry
Of these methods, waiting to recover Sanity for free and using Emergency Sanity Boosters are the best ways to get Sanity in Arknights: Endfield. As Sanity naturally accumulates at a rate of one point roughly every seven minutes, you'll gain it overtime without even having to log in to the game. However, Emergency Sanity Boosters have an expiration date, meaning you need to spend them before their timer runs out. So make sure you're using your stock of these before you use Sanity Syrups!
If you're all out of options and really can't wait for your Sanity to recover naturally, then you can spend Origeometry in Arknights: Endfield to get 40 points of Sanity per one Origeometry. However, we really don't recommend doing this, because Origeometry is a premium currency that you don't get for free very often. So it's better used elsewhere, like converting it into Oroberyl to pull on Banners in Arknights: Endfield, or purchasing the Originium Supply track of the Protocol Pass (AKA the battle pass).
How to Raise Maximum Sanity in Arknights Endfield
Your Maximum Sanity cap in Arknights: Endfield increases as your Authority Level increases. Spending your Sanity before it reaches your current cap will actually help with this, as you get Operational EXP from using Sanity, and Operational EXP is used to increase your Authority Level. Other methods to quickly raise your Authority Level include completing daily tasks, opening chests, completing quests, and unlocking TP fast travel points.
How to Use Sanity in Arknights Endfield
Sanity is used to acquire Operator and weapon level-up/promotion items in Arknights: Endfield, and Operational EXP from the "Index" tab of the Operational Manual menu. This tab houses all the Protocol Spaces you've found in the wild, as well as any bosses who can be challenged again for rewards and progression items. Just pick the challenge that rewards you with what you currently need right now, whether that be Protodisks, Protoprisms, or T-Creds, then hit "Go" to enter the battlefield.
You need to actually fight the enemies first during each of these Index challenges before you can spend your Sanity, so it's a good idea to stick to a level you can clear easily. While you may get better rewards for defeating enemies at higher levels, it will take much longer to win the battle, wasting a lot of time. Plus, you're not even guaranteed to win the fight if it's too hard.
You can also use Sanity Usage Permits at the end of any successful fight to spend double Sanity and get double rewards.
