You should, of course, still open any chests you come across in the wild, and complete other optional tasks if you want to earn even more Oroberyl. But these permanent methods have a limit to how much Oroberyl you can get per update, as there are only a finite number of chests and tasks available until more are added. Whereas the best methods for earning Oroberyl relies on completing tasks that are updated consistently. Like the daily activity refresh, and updated battle pass every patch.
What is Oroberyl Used For in Arknights Endfield?
Oroberyl is only used in the Headhunting menu to get more Operators in Arknights: Endfield — it isn't used for anything else.
Headhunting is the name of the Banners in Arknights: Endfield, and is the primary way you get more characters. It costs 500 Oroberyl to do one pull on both the limited-time banner and the permanent banner, so 5,000 Oroberyl in total to do a 10 pull. When you use the button to perform a single pull or 10 pull, the game will automatically use your Oroberyl to perform the action if you don't have enough Permits to complete the pull. So there's no need to convert your Oroberyl into Permits manually.
As normal Chartered Permits and Oroberyl don't have an expiration date, we recommend you use any single limited-time Chartered Permits you have on the limited-time banner before you start using regular Chartered Permits, or converting your Oroberyl into pulls. You may as well try your luck first by performing single pulls with free limited-time Permits that can only be used on a specific rate-up character.
