Cryston is the next material tier players need to make in Arknights: Endfield after they mastered the Ferrium. Although it uses Amethyst Ore as its primary Ore, it requires a more complex production chain, calling for midgame materials such as Sandleaf. Before finally reaching Wuling, Cryston will be the last thing to master in Valley IV. Here's how to make Cryston in Endfield.
Arknights Endfield Tier List
A tier list can help players assess the characters they have and which to prioritize; here's Arknights: Endfield tier list.
How To Make Cryston In Arknights Endfield
To make Cryston in Arknights: Endfield, you need to start by making two lines of production, one for Amethyst Powder and another for Sandleaf Powder.
Here's how to make Amethyst Powder:
- 1 Amethyst Ore in Refining Unit = 1 Amethyst Fiber
- 1 Amethyst Fiber in Shredding Unit = 1 Amethyst Powder
Next, combine Amethyst Powder and Sandleaf Powder to make Cryston Powder. This is the white cube material.
Then, refine the Cryston Powder to make Cryston Fiber.
How To Use Cryston In Arknights Endfield
Cryston Fiber can further be processed into:
- Cryston Parts
- Cryston Components
- Cryston Bottle
Cryston Parts is a material that you can use to make a Zipline Tower. Zipline Tower is the better version of Zipline Pylon, as it has a 110-meter range, compared to Zipline Pylon's 80-meter range. The two also use the same amount of power, making Zipline Tower the superior option if you have enough stock of Cryston Parts.
Cryston Component is crucial to make purple-rarity Gears in Arknights: Endfield. However, you need to make Packed Origocrust alongside Cryston Fiber to make it.
Here's how to make Packed Origocrust:
- 1 Originium Ore in Refining Unit = 1 Origocrust
- 1 Origocrust in Shredding Unit = 1 Origocrust Powder
- 2 Origocrust Powder + 1 Sandleaf Powder in Grinding Unit = 1 Dense Origocrust Powder
- 1 Dense Origocrust Powder in Refining Unit = 1 Packed Origocrust
You can also combine 2 Cryston Fibers in a Moulding Unit to make a Cryston Bottle. However, in version 1.0, there's no point in making Cryston Bottles as they're not used for anything.
Cryston Factory Layout In Arknights Endfield
Here's an example of Cryston production layout in Arknights: Endfield to make Cryston Components:
- You need two Grinding Units to make Cryston Powder and Cryston Fiber.
- You also need two Grinding Units to make Packed Origocrust.
You can move your PAC or Sub-PAC Tower by clicking on it, then pressing move, or long-pressing on the tower.
Although you can run the production with only one Grinding Unit for each material, two are required to achieve an optimal output.
Then, combine all four Belts into a Gearing Unit, which will create 6 Cryston Components per minute, if it's at its optimal production.
1 Sandleaf Shredding Unit can feed three machines, but two is easier to manage and has less risk of stalled transport. Just keep in mind that you need to produce enough Sandleaf to provide for all the machines. In the layout above, you need 2 Sandleaf every 2s, so make sure you have a 60/min output for your Sandleaf production.
