Arts Intensity is one of the many stats players can play around with in Arknights Endfield. It's fairly simple with the way it works, but given the mildly confusing terminology in the game, Arts Intensity might leave people with more questions than answers. Making use of this stat is essential if you want to maximize your DPS output in Endfield, so if you're not quite sure what it does or how to make use of it, here's a quick explainer going over how Arts Intensity interacts with your characters' abilities and the other damage multipliers available in the game.

Arts Intensity is a multiplicative stat that specifically affects the damage output and effects of Arts Bursts, Arts Reactions, and Physical Statuses. In the world of Arknights, Arts basically refers to the science-fantasy-flavored magic that people wield, and in-game, Arts is an umbrella term that encompasses both elemental and physical abilities.

Again, it is worth emphasizing that Arts Intensity is restricted to only Physical Statuses and elemental reactions like Combustion. Regular hits from basic attacks and Battle/Combo skills are not affected by Arts Intensity. These are instead affected by elemental damage multipliers as well as the Arts DMG stat.

The neat thing about Arts Intensity is that it also boosts the strength of resistance-shredding effects like Corrosion and Breach, as well as the Arts damage amp on Electrification and the Stagger inflicted by Lift and Knock Down. This makes Arts Intensity an extremely valuable stat for all characters in Endfield, not just DPS carries or debuff-based supports.
