Created by Haliotro, the mod is available for free.. Among the offerings are new buildings, tools, armor, and loot system. The mod only affects The Island in Ark: Survival Ascended, with new progression and dino leveling mechanics as players move through various areas of the map.
Ark: Survival Ascended Mod Adds Over 400 New Dinosaurs and Variants to Game
There are over 400 new dinosaurs and variations, including some of the best dinosaurs in Ark: Survival Ascended, added with Jurassic Awakening. These encompass Deinonychus, Arctic Ceratosaurus, Gallistrider, and Sand Lizard. Creatures also have new AI interactions and behaviors. Hunting dinos will be a new experience as their spawning and defense mechanics have been overhauled. Additionally, new saddles are included for the new mountable dinos. The loot tables for dino resources have been rebalanced due to the new items, but players get more three times more loot, overall.
New and improved structures include an Advanced Forge, Reinforced Vault, Spring Spike Traps, and an Improved Storage Box. A ramshackle Heavy Slingshot, Biotoxin Arrow, and Scrap Metal Hatchet can be used after the mod is installed. These offer players less resource-intensive options when it comes to their defense.
While there's plenty of content included in Jurassic Awakening already, there are future additions already being planned. More late game armor and weapons are in the works, along with content for Caves, Dungeons, and Oceans. Notable changes to the current cave and ocean dinosaurs in Ark: Survival Ascended should be expected. World Boss-inspired creatures will join the already burgeoning roster, along with more dino variants.
