How to Get Ion Sputter in Arc Raiders

The second season of the expedition in Arc Raiders requires different items than the first, and some of these items are considerably difficult to find. Ion Sputter is one of the items players will need, and aside from the expedition, it is not used for any upgrades. The guide includes information on the location of Ion Sputter and where players should go to farm them in Arc Raiders.

How to Get Ion Sputter in Arc Raiders

Ion Sputter sells for 6,000 and can be recycled into Voltage Converter x4 and Exodus Modules x1. The item can be found in Exodus locations, and your best bet for finding them is the Stella Montis map. After starting a run, depending on where you spawn on the map, make your way to either the Business Center or Assembly.

The areas around the Assembly, despite not showing the Exodus on the map, can still drop the Ion Sputter, so make sure you are looking around those areas as well.

Since this item is Epic in rarity, most players will carry this with them if they find it, so in the case you end up fighting with a raider, make sure you loot them thoroughly in case they have it.

Both of these locations have multiple looting spots and rooms where you can find breachable metal cabinets and drawers. These might have the Ion Sputters, but the chances of the item dropping is quite low. You might need to check out all the cabinets and drawers to get a single Sputter. You need three Ion Sputters for the 4th phase of the expedition along with:

Frequency Modulation Boxes x5 (Exodus)
Advanced Electrical Component x5 (Electrical)
Leaper Pulse Units x3 (Arc)

You can opt for the map condition, like the Night Raid on the map, which should increase the loot rarity. Stella Montis is easily one of the most hostile maps, mainly when it comes to online raiders. Because of this, you should be extra careful when searching for loot, as players tend to spawn extremely close to each other and there is a high chance a player will come running when hearing any noise.

You could run a free loadout to not risk losing any items; however, it is better to go with a cheap custom loadout since you will have a Safe Pocket and can put your Ion Sputters in there.
