Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders can be used to unlock three different doors on the Buried City map. It's an uncommon rarity key, meaning you have a higher chance of finding it compared to other Epic rarity keys in the loot pool. This guide will help you get the Buried City Residential Master Key, and also show you the location of locked doors you can use it on.
Updated January 21, 2026, by Ayyoun Ali: Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders is one of the most versatile keys that can open multiple locked rooms on the map. It's extremely lucrative to loot one of these rooms on a Night Raid, to get some of the most valuable loot in the game, including hard-to-get blueprints. This guide was updated to add an additional locked room location that requires the Buried City Residential Master key to unlock.
Where to Use the Spaceport Trench Tower Key in ARC Raiders
For players who've received the Spaceport Trench Tower Key in ARC Raiders, here's a guide explaining the location of the door where you can use it.
How to Get the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders (Location)
The Buried City Residential Master Key is a random drop item that can be found in various residential areas across ARC Raiders maps. Players will need to explore these areas on different runs, in the hope of finding it in a drawer, cabinet, suitcase, or simply sitting on a shelf. Here are some of the best locations where you can find the Buried City Residential Master Key in the game.

Buried City Residential Master Key Location |
Map Location |
|---|---|---|

Dam Battlegrounds |
Players can check out the Pale Apartments, Ruby Residence, and the Pattern House on each run of Dam Battlegrounds to get the Buried City Residential Master Key. These areas are on the outskirts of the map, so they're relatively safe from PvP action (unless a player spawns next to them). |

Buried City |
Two of the best locations to find the key in Buried City are the Grandioso Apartments and the group of houses east of the Abandoned Highway Camp (same location mentioned in TheBestWarGames's trinkets guide). Compared to locations in Dam Battlegrounds, these areas will have high raider activity, so be careful. |

Where to Use the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders
The Buried City Residential Master Key opens up three doors on the Buried City map: one inside the Grandioso Apartments, another is an apartment near Main Street, and the last one is a locked apartment in the Red Tower district.
Apartment on Main Street
For the Main Street apartment, simply head to the location marked as Door 1 on the map image above. You'll arrive at the door on street level, where you can use the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders. There are two floors to explore inside, and you'll get a moderate amount of loot out of this location.
Locked Room in Grandioso Apartments
The locked room in the Grandioso Apartments is a better place to use the Buried City Residential Master Key out of the two. Simply enter the Grandioso Apartment building from the point marked on the map image above. Head to the elevator shaft and descend to the lowest level.
Head inside the only room connecting to the hallway to come across the locked room. Use the Buried City Residential Master Key to open up the door, and start looting inside. Make sure to loot both of the rooms of the apartment, including the balcony that you can enter by breaking the glass.
Red Tower Locked Loot Room
The last locked room that requires the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders is located inside the buildings under the Red Tower. Head to the marked area, and you'll spot a sandy slope descending between a row of buildings.
Head inside one of the windows marked in the previous image to enter a derelict building with a hole in the wall. Head through the hole in the wall on the right to spot the locked room just at the base of the staircase.
This room also contains several residential-style containers and cabinets. However, like all keys, it's recommended to visit this room during a Night Raid to get the most loot out of using your key.
