Bombing Run is one of the quests in ARC Raiders that was added to the game in the Headwinds update. This is a follow-up to the Combat Recon quest: after surveying various cover spots and Spotters, Shani will now require you to take down a Bombardier. Destroying a Bombardier and obtaining its cells will be tricky, but this guide will walk you through an easy way to complete this quest.
ARC Raiders: Movie Night Quest Guide (Portable TV & Movie Tapes Locations)
Movie Night is a quest in ARC Raiders that will require players to find old movie tapes in Stella Montis Cultural Archives and a Portable TV.
How to Destroy a Bombardier in ARC Raiders (Bombing Run)
If you've already completed the Combat Recon quest, you'll already have an idea of the spawn locations for Bombardier. In case you need a refresher, Bombardiers consistently spawn near Plaza Rosa, Marano Park, and on top of the Parking Garage in the Buried City map of ARC Raiders.
But before you head out to face off against a Bombardier, it's best that you have the right equipment in your loadout to make this challenge easier. While you can equip any type of equipment you're most comfortable with, if you want to take down a Bombardier quickly, here are a few items that are a must-have.
- Anvil Revolver with Heavy Ammo (high ARC armor penetration)
- 3x Trailblazer Grenades (Can be bought from Apollo or crafted if you have its blueprint)
- 3x Smoke Grenades (Can also be crafted or bought from Apollo)
- A Wolfpack (Optional, just in case you need to quickly finish off a damaged Bombardier)
- A Raider Hatch Key (To make a quick escape after retrieving Bombardier Cells)
Once you have all this equipment in your loadout, load into a Buried City raid and head to one of the locations mentioned above to find a Bombardier. Once you find a Bombardier, all you need to do is hide from the Spotters and wait for it to turn its back on you.
Once the Bombardier's back is turned, throw all three Trailblazer Grenades on it.
There's a high chance that three Trailblazer Grenades will destroy the Bombardier, especially if they hit its yellow canister weak point at the back. If it's not destroyed, use the Anvil to target its yellow joints on the legs, which will inflict the most damage. Once it's destroyed, throw a Smoke Grenade at its body and start looting its various parts.
You need only one Bombardier Cell to bring back for Shani. However, you can salvage multiple items to either sell for coins or recycle for valuable crafting components.
After completing all the objectives, players will unlock the Finger Gun Single Shot Emote and receive 30x Raider Tokens as rewards for completing the Bombing Run quest in ARC Raiders.
