How to Get the Aphelion Blueprint

After the ARC Raiders update 1.7.0 in December, the Aphelion blueprint can be found in random locations across the Stella Montis map. Instead of being tied to a specific enemy, the blueprint is now a regular drop from crates, boxes, and drawers in Stella Montis. Its drop rate depends on the loot value of the area.

At the moment, there is no guaranteed way to obtain the Aphelion blueprint. It is now entirely RNG-based, meaning players will eventually come across it while looting ARC Raiders’ Stella Montis map if they are lucky.

How to Craft the Aphelion Legendary Weapon

Once players obtain the Aphelion blueprint, they must consume and learn it. Doing so adds the recipe to the gunsmith workshop, allowing the weapon to be crafted. As a Legendary ARC Raiders weapon, each Aphelion requires one Matriarch Reactor, along with three Complex Gun Parts and three Magnetic Accelerators.

How Players Got the Aphelion Blueprint Before the December Patch

When the Aphelion blueprint was first introduced, it was a guaranteed drop from the Matriarch, one of the largest and most dangerous enemies in ARC Raiders. Players had to loot the core of this massive robot to obtain the blueprint, and they could also find the Matriarch Reactor needed to craft the weapon during the same encounter. This was later changed with the December 2025 patch.

Is Aphelion Worth It?

Despite its strong armor penetration, the Aphelion is not considered one of the best weapons in ARC Raiders. It is difficult to craft and does not perform particularly well against other players. Its two-round burst firing mode is another drawback, as it makes the weapon feel slow compared to other options.

Among Legendary weapons, ARC Raiders’ Equalizer is often a better choice. While it is also weak in PvP, its consistent Energy beam makes it far more effective for hunting large ARC enemies, including the Matriarch itself.
