Expedition in Arc Raiders is what allows players to get extra skill points for their Raider's Skill Tree and exclusive rewards like cosmetics. Wiping a character does remove everything the player owns in their stash, as well as any upgrades and quest progress, which can be a hassle to do again.

The expeditions are only worth it if a player puts in enough time to be able to play the game enough to get back near the max level. The second season of the expedition brings new requirements to complete all the phases in Arc Raiders.

Updated January 13, 2026, by Waseem Muhammad: Expeditions are a great way to increase total Stash space and get additional Skill points. However, since everything else resets, a lot of players might not be fully convinced to take part in these. The Expedition 2 Requirements guide has been updated to add more information on the location of each item that players will need to get to the next phase of the project.

The game allows you to track any resource that is needed for an upgrade or project. This makes it so that if you have the resources tracked, they will appear with a small eye icon on them while you loot stuff on the Topside, ensuring you do not miss out on any important items.

The majority of the items listed above cannot be crafted or acquired through recycling, so players will have to venture out of Esperanza and loot the specific areas where they can find them while being cautious of Arcs and enemy raiders. Similar to the last expedition season, there are five phases that players have to complete. However, there is a small difference in one of the phases that is listed below.

Phase 1

  • Metal Parts x150
    • A small amount can be collected from Scrappy after every run. You can also recycle or salvage items you find in the Topside. Metal Parts can be found inside breachable cabinets, metal crates, car hoods, and lockers throughout the map. These can also be purchased from Celeste.
  • Plastic Parts x200
    • A small amount can be collected from Scrappy after every run. You can also recycle or salvage items you find in the Topside. Plastic Parts can be found inside breachable cabinets, drawers, and lockers throughout the map. These can also be purchased from Celeste.
  • ARC Alloy x80
    • The easiest way to get these is by defeating any type of ARC enemy in the game. There is a very high chance they will drop a few of these, and you can easily collect a lot within a short amount of time. Alternatively, there are a lot of items like the ARC Motion Cores or ARC Circuitry that you can recycle to get ARC Alloys.
  • Steel Springs x15
    • These are located inside the Industrial areas. Try looking for breachable cabinets or metal shelves. You can also recycle items like Extended Magazines, Cooling Coils, and Rusted Tools to get more of these. You can purchase 10 of these from Celeste for 6 Seeds each. The stock resets every day, so you can buy them constantly if you need them for crafting something as well.

Phase 2

  • Durable Cloth x35
    • You can get this mainly from crafting in the Refiner using Fabric. You can find this in abundance in the Medical and Commercial areas. Try searching in the Research & Administration building in Dam Battlegrounds, the Hospital in Buried City, or the Departure Building in Spaceport.
  • Wires x25
    • You can purchase 10 of these every day from Celeste for 4 Seeds each. Apart from Celeste, players can find these in the Electrical and Technological areas. These are quite common to find and can be easily recycled from items like Toasters, Power Cables, or Cooling Fans.
  • Electrical Components x20
    • The best place to find these is the Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds. There are a lot of Electrical Substations nearby as well that you can check out. Alternatively, you can craft these using Plastic Parts x8 and Rubber Parts x4 at the Refiner.
  • Cooling Coils x4
    • The same as Steel Springs, you get the Coils inside the Industrial areas. You can opt for a Night Raid or different map conditions that increase the loot rarity, making more of these drop.

Phase 3

  • Light Bulbs x4
    • This is a trinket that you can find in Electrical areas. Try to search car hoods around the Power Generation Complex or containers inside any Electrical area.
  • Batteries x30 (Technological, Electrical)
    • You can purchase 10 of these from Celeste every day for 5 Seeds each. These are located in the Technological and Electrical areas. Try to look for breachable cabinets, as these have the highest chance for Batteries. You can also recycle items like Cracked Bioscanners, Industrial Batteries, and Broken Flashlights to get more of these.
  • Shredder Gyros x10
    • To get the Shredder Gyros, you will have to destroy and loot the Shredders found in the Stella Montis map. They are extremely dangerous to fight since they can deal a lot of damage, so fight them from behind any cover.
  • Exodus Module x1 (Exodus)
    • You can purchase one every day from Celeste for 55 Seeds. Alternatively, you can try searching for Exodus areas, which are most common on Stella Montis. These are hard to drop, so try to go for a Night Raid to increase your chances of getting these.

Phase 4

  • Frequency Modulation Boxes x5 (Exodus)
    • This is another item that players can find in the Exodus areas. Your best bet is the Stella Montis map. Try looking for them in the Business Center or Assembly.
  • Advanced Electrical Component x5
    • You can craft these at the Refiner using Wires x3 and Electrical Components x2. If you want to look for them, then search the Electrical areas on the map. The Power Generation Complex has quite a few of these lying on the computers in the main room next to the Power Rod room.
  • Ion Sputters x3 (Exodus)
    • Ion Sputters are found inside the Exodus areas. These are quite hard to come across, so you will need to search a lot of the containers, drawers, and cabinets before getting the necessary amount needed for the expedition.
  • Leaper Pulse Units x3
    • For these, you will have to find and destroy Leapers. They are quite common in maps like Spaceport and Dam Battlegrounds, and a few Blaze Grenades should destroy them easily, allowing you to loot the core and get the Pulse Units.

Phase 5

  • Sell 200,000 coins worth of Combat Items
  • Sell 100,000 coins worth of Survival Items
  • Sell 150,000 coins worth of Provisions
  • Sell 300,000 coins worth of Materials

The last phase of this expedition requires you to sell items, regardless of what the item is. If it falls under the four categories, you will get progress for these and can work towards completing the whole project before the next wipe date.
