A Toxic Trail is one of the new quests added in the ARC Raiders' Cold Snap update. It's a follow-up quest to the Source of Contamination quest that will require players to revisit the flood spill intake near the Water Treatment Facility. This quest is rather short, but searching the swamp to find traces of barrel origins can be tricky. Here's how to complete A Toxic Trail quest in ARC Raiders.

Once you accept A Toxic Trail quest in ARC Raiders, you'll need to start a match on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Head to the location marked on the map above, which leads to the northern side of the Water Treatment Control Facility. There's a small intake located here, with a toxic barrel sitting in the middle of it.

Simply jump into the toxic water and stand near the barrel to complete the first objective, "return to water intake below the Water Treatment building," for the A Toxic Trail quest.

How to Find the Traces of Barrel's Origins in A Toxic Trail Quest (Location)

For the next objective, players will need to search the swamp for traces of the barrel's origins in A Toxic Trail quest in ARC Raiders. While the location you need to go and investigate is nearby, finding it without proper guidance can be a pain.

It can become even trickier, considering the Water Treatment Control building is frequently visited by raiders, both friendly and hostile.

Barrel Origins Truck Toxic Trail ARC Raiders

Head in the northwest direction of the building, towards the treeline. You'll eventually arrive at a small river, with a truck submerged in the middle of it.

The truck will be carrying similar-looking barrels like the one found in the water intake. Simply approach the truck and interact with it to take a photo of it. You'll need to interact with the truck another time to search for clues about the Saboteur's identity.

A Toxic Trail Completion Rewards ARC Raiders

Once you've completed both of the objectives for A Toxic Trail quest in ARC Raiders, simply return to Speranza. Visit Shani to mark the quest as completed and get a Tactical MK.2 Augment, 3x Ziplines, 3x Pulse Mines, 3x Gas Mines as quest completion reward.
