King's Canyon, the original map of Apex: Legends, returned this year after a long absence. Set on the planet Solace, the map features military bases and slums, and is divided by a river. One of the new features of the map since its return to Apex is a series of bunkers, which have slowly been opening up to players.
Recently the fourth, and possibly final, bunker has opened, allowing players a chance to loot it. Not only does the vault contain high-end items, it also plays host to a secret message from Crypto's sister. For players wanting to unveil these new secrets, or simply gear up, here's how to access Bunker 4.
Dropping In
Terminal Station L-19, also known as Bunker 4, is located in the north-east of King's Canyon. Players looking to drop on it should aim to land between Containment, Slum Lakes, and The Pit. It's a good idea to head there straight away, as it's likely other players will be doing the same.
While there's always a risk of a firefight, the dangers of Terminal Station L-19 are worth facing. The Bunker hatch is located in a patch of shrubbery, and can be opened by interacting with it. Inside players will find a bundle of loot, including a Double Tap Hop-Up, a Gold Havoc, as well as Med and Phoenix kits. The bunker also includes a selection of other loot, which can be both Epic and Legendary.
A Secret Message
As with previous bunkers, players who drop in as Crypto will find more in the vault than just loot. To discover these secrets, head down the corridor to the left upon entering the bunker. There'll be a door blocked off by rubble, but with an open vent on the right of it. Send Crypto's drone in through the vent, and approach the three screens to decrypt the message.
In the message, Crypto's sister declares that she's safe, and laying low. She also warns Crypto that "They" are working for one guy, and while she doesn't know his name, she does know that they're watching her brother. It's unclear at this point how this message relates to the wider story of the Broken Ghost quest, though there is one final hint. Each of the bunkers has been marked by a letter, which put together spell WOLF. This is possibly a reference to Loba (She-wolf in Portuguese), a new Legend that was added in Season 5.
Apex Legends is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Steam and Switch ports release later this year.
