Season 15 has released several contents for players such as events, the new Broken Moon map, and the new defensive legend Catalyst. ThordanSmash discussed the matter in a video on his YouTube channel and explained that the new perk will have more ammo and weapon attachments that only the assault class will be able to use. Assault legends are the offensive characters in the game, including Mad Maggie, Revenant, and Ash, a character for whom Apex Legends players are asking for buffs. The leak corroborates earlier information that supports legends can access "support bins," previously available only to Lifeline.

ThordanSmash talks in the video that Respawn would be looking to add a new class system, in which existing classes will receive new perks to make them more viable. The data miner also mentions the existence of a skirmisher class that can see what is inside the care package but gives no further details. These changes do not rule out the release of buffs and nerfs, in that the video mentions that Lifeline will receive a buff that will make the care package land faster. Another piece of information cited by ThordanSmash is the rumor of Apex Legends adding a hardcore mode.

Rumors need to be taken with a pinch of salt, something the Apex Legends community is used to because of frequent leaks. Nevertheless, the changes revealed by ThordanSmash are capable of reshaping the game's meta, potentially adding more balance and teamwork. While not 100% confirmed information, this leak can perhaps explain the lack of buffs and nerfs in Season 15. Apex Legends players can only wait to see if Respawn will make things official or if new leaks will appear, as Season 16 arrives only in early February next year.
