In this section, you'll find instructions on how you can complete each different wall jump, and what they will be most useful for in the fast-paced Apex Legends.

Wall Push Method

To complete this wall jump, start by finding a wall you want to jump against. Then, follow these instructions:

  • Mantle the wall by running towards it, and jumping against it. Make sure to push yourself up against the wall, so you keep in contact with it.
  • Then, once you have jumped up the wall, hit the jump button again when you've reached the top. Your character will then perform the wall push jump.
  • To keep moving, after you've jumped off the wall and are flung backwards, hit the crouch button to get your character to slide backwards. This will allow you to get more distance between yourself and an enemy.

Slide Wall Jump Method

This method is one of the easier ones that has been around for a while. Here's what you need to do:

  • Mantle the wall again, but start with a slide movement towards the wall, then jump and make contact with the wall.
  • Once you've mantled the wall, hit the jump button again.

You can perform the slide wall jump from an angle as well and change directions with it, so you are facing the opposite side. You'll also want to remember to let go of forward when you've jumped off the wall, otherwise your character might try to climb up the wall.

Advanced Wall Jump Method

For this final method, it will require you to make two jumps before hitting the wall. After you've jumped once, if you jump immediately after, you'll notice that your character doesn't jump as high as the first jump. We are going to use this to create an advanced wall jump, which is as follows:

  • Start by running towards a wall and jumping once.
  • Then, jump one more time to perform a smaller jump just as you're coming into contact with the wall.
  • After hitting the wall, you can either let go of forward to fling your character backwards, or hold down forward to jump high up against the wall.

This wall jump can be a great way to get your character to not only fling backwards, but get a bit of upwards momentum as well. All three wall jump methods can be used to your advantage in battle, especially when equipped with powerful weapons.
