As you'll find out early on in Apex Legends, there are tons of movement strategies you can use to get a leg up in the competition. Whether you are learning how to jump off walls, or how to tap strafe, all of these abilities will help improve your movement and speed.

Another method you can use is the Super Glide, which allows you to more easily increase your speed after climbing a wall. Climbing can sometimes leave you as an open target, so learning how to Super Glide can make a huge difference on the battlefield. Here's how to perform the movement.

Super Glide in Apex Legends Explained

As Apex Legends will require you to react quickly, learning the Super Glide movement will be extremely important for players to learn. When you're climbing an object or wall, once you reach the top, you'll have a moment of being completely open. You won't be able to easily start moving again, which means an enemy could attack you.

This is where the Super Glide comes in to aid you. Using a Super Glide will allow you to launch yourself forward after you've reached the top of the wall. This will make it significantly harder for enemies to hit you when you get to the top.

How to Super Glide in Apex Legends

Now that you're aware of how useful the Super Glide can be, we will explain how you can perform the move in the Battle Royale, Apex Legends.

  • Start by finding a ledge you want to climb. A good practice area is the rocks towards the front of the firing range.
  • Now, you'll want to start sprinting towards the ledge. Make contact with the wall, and then jump up to get your character to mantle the wall.
  • At the very top of the jump up the wall, you will want to hit the jump button and crouch button immediately, one after the other. Make sure to hit the jump button first, followed by the crouch. This will propel your character forward.

When you are at the top of the wall, you will have a very short period of time to tap the jump and crouch buttons. These should be pressed almost simultaneously to successfully complete a Super Glide. Keep in mind that this movement will take some time and training to get down, so don't worry if you don't get it at first. It is also said that it is easier to hit a Super Glide with lower frame rates, so you'll be much more likely to replicate the move at 30 FPS rather than 144 FPS or higher. We highly recommend taking the time to perfect this move, however, as it can help you to improve and eventually reach Masters Rank.
