Update 6/18: Apex Legends services have been restored and the game is back online.

Original story follows.

Apex Legends, the popular FPS battle royale game from Respawn Entertainment and EA, is currently down. Apex Legends was shadow dropped in 2019 and became a massive overnight success. The battle royale is not quite as big as it once was, but it is still fairly popular and remains in rotation for many battle royale fans.

A big reason why Apex Legends has managed to last so long as a live-service game is its regular updates. New Apex Legends updates address balance issues, host special events, and give players new content to enjoy. Currently, Apex Legends is in the midst of Season 25, though players are currently having a hard time playing it.
