Players who love the movement in Apex Legends will dedicate themselves to playing Skirmisher Legends. Skirmisher legends have dedicated movement abilities that help them during combat and can get in and out of fights better than other legends. Players using skirmisher legends will perform aggressive plays and rely on their movement abilities to keep them from trouble.
The skirmisher class holds many of the most-played legends in Apex Legends. Having one legend from the skirmisher class is ideal for rotations, repositioning, and pushing up on enemies. The skirmisher class can view the contents of care packages and know if they have been looted.
6 Octane
The high-speed daredevil of the Apex Games is lots of fun to play in pubs but struggles in ranked lobbies. Octane's Launch Pad is a great tool for a team but should not be used during combat. The Launch Pad produces a loud sound effect when used and alerts enemies. Players caught in the air by enemies are easy to shoot and will receive lots of damage.
As for Octane's tactical Stim, it is excellent for rushing to the aid of teammates or running away from enemies. One of Octane's biggest nerfs is the increased damage when using his Stim, which now reduces his health by 20 points.
His passive health regeneration has also been slowed down and is rarely helpful in fights.
5 Valkyrie
Valkyrie was once the best legend in Apex Legends, but the introduction of the Evac Tower has severely limited the primary reason to play her. Her Skyward Dive made it simple for Valkyrie's team to relocate and land inside the zone. While Evac Towers are not as effective, they keep players safe from the zone by allowing quick repositioning opportunities and only taking a survival item slot.
Valkyrie's passive VTOL Jets are perhaps the best passive in the game as they allow the player to fly. Flying is great for getting the height advantage on players. Her tactical forces players to move away from her Missile Swarm as it will stun enemies and render them an easy kill.
4 Wraith
Wraith is undoubtedly the most iconic legend as she has always been powerful. Aggressive players make great Wraith players as her entire kit revolves around pushing enemies and initiating fights for the team. Wraith can swiftly relocate to her team and safely escape dangerous situations thanks to her tactical ability. Her tactical has a short delay and will require careful planning and timing to avoid getting knocked.
When used right, Wraith's ultimate has many opportunities to give her the upper hand in a fight. With her ultimate, Wraith can relocate downed teammates to a safer location or teleport her team to a better location during a fight.
Wraith's passive alerts her when an enemy is aiming at her, but it usually happens right when enemies begin firing their weapons.
3 Horizon
Playing Horizon requires lots of creativity as her kit has many possibilities to alter any fight. Horizon's tactical is used to propel her and the team upwards onto high ground and gain an advantage over enemies. There are many ways to use Horizon's tactical such as lifting unsuspecting enemies, blocking doorways, or lifting a downed teammate to safety.
Horizon's ultimate works well with a coordinated team and will work better if they are stockpiling grenades. The grenades can dish out lots of damage early in a fight and quickly give Horizon and her team the advantage.
Since Horizon's tactical lifts her in the air, her passive prevents her from getting staggered after a fall. This works great when pushing enemies from a height as she can immediately start firing her weapon accurately.
2 Pathfinder
Out of all the tacticals in Apex Legends, none have a higher skill ceiling than Pathfinder's Grappling Hook. A skilled Pathfinder player can fly around with his grapple and quickly move to strategic locations. Pathfinder's Grapple Gun is great for pushing low-health players hiding behind cover. Pathfinder can also use his grapple to get the high ground on every fight or flee if the engagement is unfavorable.
For a while, Pathfinder's ultimate has been underwhelming, but a recent change has made Pathfinder the strongest mobility legend in Apex Legends. His buffed Zipline Gun reaches a distance of 200 meters and provides players with a 66% faster movement speed than a normal zipline.
Pathfinder's passive allows him to reduce his ultimate cooldown by scanning Care Packages. This allows Pathfinder to have more frequent ultimates.
1 Revenant
The first reborn legend in Apex Legends has had a powerful entrance and a new set of amazing abilities. Revenant no longer suppresses enemy abilities but aims to suppress their lives. Revenant's new tactical allows him to lunge forward for up to 50 meters. His Shadow Pounce tactical can also allow him to plunge onto a wall and transition quickly into climbing.
Revenant reborn can climb walls better as he can now move horizontally at a much faster pace and can now go around corners. The new Assassins Instinct passive reveals nearby enemies low on health and can be seen behind walls.
The new Forged Shadows ultimate is Revenant's strongest ability and should never be underestimated. Revenant's ultimate covers him with a shadow shroud that adds 75HP to Revenant and lasts 25 seconds, and will slowly recharge once broken. The shadow shroud will increase his upper body hitbox drastically when active.
Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
