Pacific Rim: The Black is an animated spin-off of the Pacific Rim film franchise, merging gigantic Kaiju and human-piloted robots into a non-stop action movie. The world is being invaded by interdimensional monsters sent to wreak havoc by an advanced race called the Precursors.
The monsters, or Kaiju, are engineered by the Precursor to aid in invasion and terraforming worlds and possess special traits and abilities to assist in causing as much destruction as possible.
