Animal Well: All Kangaroo Locations

The Kangaroo is a hostile animal in Animal Well that drops K. Shards when scared by a Firecracker. Players will not be able to do much with just a single K. Shard, though, and they will need to obtain three of them before they can be put to use. That means that fans must track down the Kangaroo in Animal Well several times, and this guide is here to assist with that endeavor by detailing the creature's possible spawn locations.

It is highly recommended that players unlock fast travel in Animal Well before pursuing the Kangaroo, as that feature makes it much easier to reach several of the animal's possible positions.

Animal Well: Kangaroo Locations

The Kangaroo can appear in the five rooms that are marked on the map that is above, and fans of puzzle games should simply cycle through them until they have collected three K. Shards. Here are more details on those rooms (and information covering how to quickly reach them through fast travel):

Players should make sure to cross the entirety of these rooms when checking for the Kangaroo, as the creature may not appear until they reach the far side.

This room is home to two dogs standing on their hind legs. It can be quickly accessed by using the bear head in the fast travel room and traveling one screen down and one screen to the right.
This room is directly beneath the Egg room.
This room is home to a mallard, and it is just one screen to the right of the boss statue room.
This room is in the starting area. It can be quickly accessed by using the squirrel head in the fast travel room and then traveling two screens to the right, two screens up, and one more screen to the right.
This room is one screen to the right of the frog head that is on the path to Animal Well's Ostrich boss. It can be quickly accessed by using the frog head in the fast travel room.

To note, players should do their best to collect the K. Shard that the Kangaroo drops before exiting the room and following the creature to another location. Indeed, it is reported that K. Shards can disappear if they are left on the ground for too long, and that can make it impossible for fans to use one of the Circular Recesses in Animal Well. Players who find themselves in that situation are advised to check rooms and secret paths that are adjacent to the Kangaroo's locations, as some fans indicate that their despawned K. Shards have appeared in those areas.
