If you want to get yourself a pile of Leaf Tokens, you can no longer purchase them with real money like you could with Leaf Tickets. In Complete, there don't seem to be any microtransactions at all; you must therefore earn all of your Leaf Tokens instead. There are several ways to get them, so here is a list of all of them in order of best to worst.

  1. Use the five monthly transfers from the AC currency Bells into Leaf Tokens. You spend 10,000 bells and you get 20 Leaf Tokens. Press the + next to the number of Leaf Tokens you have in the top middle of the screen to make the exchange.
  2. Completing Isabelle's quests called Stretch Goals in the Goals menu in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Raising your character's level.
  4. Raising your HH rank.

What Can You Use Leaf Tokens On?

Leaf Tokens can be used to purchase a whole bunch of items in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete. Once you have a handful of this currency in this mobile game perfect for winding down, you will be able to purchase:

  • Current Fortune Cookies.
  • Additional souvenirs from boat shipments, allowing you to get new Animal maps to get additional Animal Crossing villagers you haven't see yet.
  • Get all the items from maps without having to roll.
  • Crafting Featured items.
  • Shortening Crafting time.
  • Crafting Limited time clothing and furniture items.
  • Raising your HH score during a class.
  • Basically speeding anything up that has a timer.

The best ROI for spending these tokens is probably the Fortune Cookies and getting all the items from Animal maps. The Fortune Cookies give you items from the newest selection of items. When you use the Tokens on maps, it collects every good item on the map and ignores any of the bad items. This is a great way to easily grab the newest Animals and invite them to your camp, level them up, and gain more levels for yourself.
