A fan has created an amazing underwater room using clever tricks to make it look like an Animal Crossing: New Horizons in-game feature. Once the credits roll, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players unlock terraforming, gaining the ability to freely mold their island paradise to meet their preferences. This feature opens up a whole new world of possibilities, but before they get access to it, they will have to resort to putting down decorations, which is just as fun.

Gamers can place decorations all over the island and inside their homes, and if they own the Animal Crossing: New Horizons expansion pack, they'll eventually be able to modify their villagers' homes. There is no doubt that the Animal Crossing community has incredible creative skills; fans have always been able to come up with some of the most imaginative creations.

The free Animal Crossing 1.3.0. Summer update was released back in 2020, and it was massive. It gave players the ability to swim in the ocean that surrounded their island. With the right swimming equipment, they could even look for sea creatures underwater. However, the underwater exploration is done off-screen. Reddit user mr_meowsevelt has managed to create their own underwater exploration room, and it perfectly replicates a beautiful ocean scenario. This fan was able to create this room using dynamic underwater-themed wallpaper and sand flooring. On top of this, they also crafted tons of items using Summer Shells; these blue shells can only be collected by the ocean during the summer months, and then players can craft special recipes with them.

What makes this even more immersive is the fact that the creator used the fast-travel pipes added with the Animal Crossing Mario update to make it seem like they were truly going into a hole underground. They also put a gate in front of the door inside the underwater "cave" to prevent players from coming in or going out any other way besides the Mario pipe, as this would easily break the immersion.

Even though Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been out for nearly four years, players are still coming up with unique ideas that have never been seen before. The game will not receive more content updates, but there is no doubt that gamers will continue to explore the options that they have at their disposal and make beautiful creations to share with their peers in the Animal Crossing community.
