Spring has arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and with it the island life simulator's first in-game event. Introducing Bunny Day, Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Easter holiday event. Bunny Day begins today, April 1, and will last through April 12. Players can expect to find a variety of fun Easter-related tasks in-game for the duration of the event.
The event starts with the new island visitor Zipper T. Bunny. Zipper is a Bunny Day mascot in a bunny costume dancing across the island. Talking to Zipper will result in him introducing players to the Easter event and giving basic guidelines for what can be done.
The Animal Crossing event starts with Easter eggs, with different types of eggs are found all over the island. They can drop from special presents floating via balloon, they can be fished up, dug up, or even grown on trees. These eggs can be used to make special Bunny Day furniture and clothing, but players will have to find those hidden on the island, too.
There are six different types of eggs to find and players will need to find a lot of them to complete all recipes. Completing all recipes will result in Zipper giving players a trio of final recipes. Making the Bunny Day Arch leads to the Wobbling Zipper Toy and making the Wobbling Zipper Toy leads to the special Bunny Day Wand, so Animal Crossing: New Horizons players better start collecting eggs as soon as possible.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
