There are hundreds of villagers that players invite onto their island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons; most are original characters from the series, but there are also some villagers that are the result of limited-time events or crossovers between franchises.

Rarest Items in Animal Crossing New Horizons

These items are seen so rarely in Animal Crossing: New Horizons that it's quite incredible when players get their hands on them.

Zelda characters were available in New Leaf. However, it wasn't until the release of update 3.0 that they became available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This guide tells players how they can unlock Zelda characters, furniture, and clothing in New Horizons.

How to Invite Zelda Characters in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Tulin and Mineru played a big role in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom back in 2023. They have now joined the Animal Crossing series as villagers in New Horizons.

To get Tulin or Mineru on their island, players will have to scan Zelda amiibo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Each amiibo is tied to one of these two characters, and depending on which ones players have at home, they might be able to invite one or two of them to move to their island.

To invite an amiibo villager to their campsite, players have to go to the Resident Services building, use the Nook Stop, and select the Invite Camper option. Then, they must scan the amiibo and talk to the character to get them to appear at the campsite.

After this, all they need to do is speak to them on the campsite and invite them to move to the island. Here is the villager that each amiibo will spawn:
