Kapp'n and his family opened an hotel on the island pier in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players can help manage the business by decorating rooms and dressing up the mannequins in the lobby, so the guests have a themed island look when they're staying at the hotel.
How to Get to the Hotel in Animal Crossing New Horizons
The Animal Crossing New Horizons 3.0 update adds Kappn's family's hotel where players can help out with decorating the rooms and selecting outfits.
There is an adorable souvenir shop in the hotel lobby where players can purchase clothes and items. However, they only accept a currency called Hotel Tickets. This guide will tell players how they can get more Hotel Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so they get themselves some souvenirs.
How to Get Hotel Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
There are two ways to earn Hotel Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons:
Decorate Hotel Rooms
Leilani needs help decorating all the rooms at the hotel, and she will pay the player in Hotel Tickets as a way to thank them for their efforts. This is a great way to earn great sums of tickets easily, but most gamers won't want to rush through these quests. Plus, once all the rooms are finished, they will have no way to earn more tickets.
Complete DIY Requests
Completing Tom Nook's DIY Requests is handsdown the best way to farm Hotel Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players can complete dozens of DIY Requests in order to continuously gain Hotel Tickets. All they need to do is check the DIY Requests box at the hotel entrance or via the DIY Recipes app on their phone, and start crafting the requested recipes.
Bonus DIY Request quests renew every Monday.
The first four quests that players receive each week will be worth twice as much. Once they've completed them, they can continue to do more quests for standard value. As long as they have enough materials in their household inventory, they can keep fulfilling requests and farming Hotel Tickets.
Should You Buy Hotel Souvenirs In the Lobby or Order Them From the Catalog?
Grams warns players that they will have to pay a fee for purchasing items from the catalog. The markup is about 15 percent per item when ordered.
She only brings two items per day to the physical shop, and there is only one of each item in stock. Therefore, if someone has already gotten them, players will miss them and have to wait for them to come back into rotation. So, in some cases, it might be worth the extra price and simply ordering them.
Does the Hotel Souvenir Catalog Have a Limit in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Similarly to Nook Shopping, players cannot order an unlimited amount of goods through the hotel's souvenir catalog. They can speak to Grams and order a maximum of five items per day. However, this is a limit island resident, so if gamers have a second user, they can log in and get themselves more items from the catalog.
