LEGO fans have a limited time to add many of the Animal Crossing sets to their collections, with a majority of the Nintendo game franchise line scheduled to retire at the end of 2025. The Animal Crossing LEGO sets have proven to be incredibly popular among fans of both the building blocks and life-sim game, but the frequent rotation of available sets from LEGO has put the Animal Crossing sets on the chopping block.
The first Animal Crossing video game was released in Japan in 2001 for the Nintendo 64, before getting an enhanced port for the GameCube that launched in North America in 2002, in Australia in 2003, and in Europe in 2004. Animal Crossing has been praised as a pillar of the life-sim gaming genre and has been adored by fans for its wholesome vibes, relaxing gameplay, and adorable Villager characters. With the introduction of the first Animal Crossing LEGO collaboration, fans of both franchises were able to bring the adorable game to life in a new way. Unfortunately, many of the beloved Animal Crossing LEGO sets are now scheduled to be retired.

While the existing Animal Crossing LEGO sets are all slated to end their consumer runs, there are rumors of more Animal Crossing LEGO releases to be released in Summer 2025. The rumors stem from the reveal of new set numbers 77056, 77057, and 77058, all of which fall in order with the numbering of the previously released Animal Crossing LEGO sets. Whether these three new playsets will be more Animal Crossing remains to be seen, but interested collectors may want to look into snagging any of the existing sets before they are gone for good.
