A new weapon bundle for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available to Amazon Prime subscribers through Prime Gaming. Activision often teams up with Amazon to offer players equipment drops across Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the battle royale game, Warzone.
The last weapon drop was back in April when players could claim the Electron Energy bundle for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. That included several new weapons and a new blueprint. The latest Prime freebie follows a similar vein to last month’s drop but with a few differences.
The drop is titled the Carbon Dated bundle and is available to players subscribed to Amazon Prime Gaming. So long as players link their Prime subscription to an active Activision account, they can claim the bundle up to June 20. The offer is available across all platforms and includes Mesozoic - RAM-7 Assault Rifle Weapon Blueprint and Extinction - Longbow Blueprint, each featuring a fossilized dinosaur look. Rounding out the set is the Fossil Record Charm and a Dino-mite Vinyl, which can be added to the player’s loadouts for additional flare.

The Prime Gaming bundle has launched as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are about to enter Season 4. The latest update is scheduled to land on May 29 and bring about a wealth of changes to the battle royale game, such as significant changes to the Urzikstan gulag that includes the introduction of new silo variants, and the complete removal of the Ashika Island map. The Ashika map has been part of Call of Duty’s online rotations since 2023 but is being phased out in favor of a more streamlined playlist rotation.

Fans of Modern Warfare 3 may also be in for a larger cosmetic drop coming with Season 4. Rumors have been circulating about a Gundam x Call of Duty crossover, with the popular Call of Duty news reporter CharlieIntel providing leaked artwork. While nothing has been confirmed, speculation in the community is that this crossover will appear in the coming months.
Looking past the Carbon Dated bundle, The Call of Duty franchise is gearing up for its next big announcement. Activision will unveil Call of Duty Black Ops 6 on June 9, immediately after the Xbox presentation held by Microsoft. Little is known about the title but it is rumored that Black Ops 6 could be the first Call of Duty to launch on Game Pass from day one.
