Tunic is an indie game developed by Isometricorp Games (which has some great action games) and published by Finji. The game was originally created and designed by Andrew Shouldice, who was the sole artist and designer for the game. The game features an anthropomorphic fox who is in search of a crystal containing a fox spirit.

The game itself has been likened to games such as The Legend of Zelda, which has encouraged a lot of fans to try it out. While the game is a pretty casual one, it can be difficult at times. Thankfully, the game has some cheat codes (which can be found in the game's manual), and it offers some cheat-like modes. Here's a guide to all the cheats and modes.

All Tunic Cheat Codes

Tunic Manual Cheat

There are two different cheat codes that are shown in the game's manual. In order to use these codes, players will need to just type them in using the D-Pad or arrow keys while they are playing the game. The game cannot be paused if players are trying to enter these codes.

Code Input

Effect

DOWN, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, UP

This will refill the health bar at any point in the game.

UP, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT

Fairies will swarm near the player to give them a hint for a Fairy Puzzle or lead them to an area with one.

While these are the known cheats, back in 2022, the creator said that there were things fans still had not discovered, and this rings true today. This means that there may be more cheat codes discovered in the future.

All Tunic Cheat Modes

While these aren't technically cheats, players can change the modes in the accessibility settings, which will make it seem like they are cheating. To do this, all players need to do is head to the main menu and then select options and accessibility. Here are the modes and what they do:

Mode

Effect

No Fail Mode

This gives the fox infinite health. It is similar to the God Mode of other games.

No Stamina Restrictions

This gives the fox infinite stamina. The player can roll around and dodge all enemies with ease.

These codes allow players to play the game without worrying too much about their skills and trying to keep the fox alive. Instead, they can focus on how fun the game is and complete the many puzzles the game is known for.
