Strangelings are an incredibly important part of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. These living objects can be restored to their human forms and brought along with you on your adventure as buddies that can help out with crafting, gathering, and combat. Finding Strangelings, especially for certain Lives, can be really hard since there are so many different areas to explore in Fantasy Life i.

Thankfully, there are guaranteed spawn locations for most of the Strangelings in Fantasy Life i, so you can skip straight to specific Shrines in Ginormosia or complete certain quests to unlock the buddies that you need. It's very hard to craft the best recipes or get the best rewards from legendary gathering nodes on your own, so you'll need a squad of Strangelings to back you up as you get further in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.

You can collect any of these Strangelings at any point during the main story of Fantasy Life i, since there aren't any restrictions on exploration in Ginormosia. Just be prepared if you're searching for a Strangeling in a high-level zone, since there's no level scaling. Not all of the Shrines have combat challenges, though, so you may not even need to level up a combat Life for them.

Fantasy Life i Strangeling Chest-1

The hardest Strangelings to get are the ones that drop randomly. There's no easy way to get them. You just have to repeatedly farm boss enemies and legendary gathering nodes with star icons by their names. Thankfully, these respawn every few minutes, so you can keep trying your luck. There are Strangelings for every Life that don't require you to roll the dice over and over again, though, so check the list for a different character if you need a buddy for crafting, gathering, or combat purposes.
