While the main focus of The Lake House DLC in Alan Wake 2 is to bridge the gap between Estevez arriving in Bright Falls and meeting Saga Anderson, there are plenty of secrets to discover within the FBC facility at Cauldron Lake. If you've played Control before, you may recognize a few names and references among all the documents and files you come across in the Lake House.
While most of this serves to provide additional connections to the Remedy Connected Universe, there is one thing that could easily be considered a teaser for Control 2 in the same way that the Return trailer in Quantum Break was a teaser for Alan Wake 2. To discover this mystery for yourself, you will want to unlock the Murderer and Victim achievement/trophy, which is pretty easy to miss.
Minor spoilers below, proceed with caution.
How to Unlock Murderer and Victim in Alan Wake 2: The Lake House
You won't be able to unlock this achievement/trophy until you have made it to Sublevel 4, which is near the end of the DLC. After you navigate through the maze and deal with the Painted and Taken, you will come across the office in the middle of this area. Approach the control panel to the left and use it to turn off the lights. Doing so activates the elevator that will take you down to Sublevel 5, but don't go down there yet.
Instead, go into the office and look for three drawings scattered around the room. Two are on the floor, while the other one is on the table with the projector. The first drawing you interact with will prompt dialogue from Estevez where she speculates that it doesn't look like the same style as the other art seen in the Lake House.
When you've interacted with all three drawings, a light switch cord will appear in the middle of the room. Just like in Control, you need to pull the cord three times in order to proceed to the next part.
This takes you to a familiar location from Control. Go down the hallway until you enter a large open chamber. In the middle of this room is a containment cell with someone inside. Keep talking to this individual until you trigger a cutscene. At this point, you will unlock the achievement/trophy, and you will be back in the office where you found the drawings.
