Alan Wake 2 was a well-received sequel that proved to be worth the thirteen-year wait. Nearly one year after its release, there has been plenty of additional content for players to enjoy between Final Draft and the first DLC, Night Springs. While players knew that the next DLC expansion would be called The Lake House, Remedy had not given any specific information about what to expect.
Earlier this month, The Lake House was officially announced with a trailer that indicates that this expansion will be significantly more creepy and unsettling than the last one. Here is when players will be able to download and play the last expansion for Alan Wake 2, The Lake House.

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House Release Time
The Lake House releases on October 22nd at 8 AM EDT (5 AM PDT). In timezones outside of the United States, this would be 1 PM BST/3 PM EEST/9 PM JST. In order to access The Lake House, you will need to either own the Deluxe Edition of Alan Wake 2 or purchase the Deluxe Edition upgrade. The upgrade to Deluxe Edition will cost $20 and comes with both expansions along with some cosmetics for Alan and Saga.
A physical Deluxe Edition will be released on October 22nd as well. It will contain a code for Alan Wake Remastered, Alan Wake 2, and all of the DLC for Alan Wake 2. The phsyical edition can be pre-ordered at Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy.
Based on the trailer, this expansion focuses on a FBC facility in Bight Falls known as the Lake House. Based on some context given during Alan Wake 2, this expansion will occur either before or during the events of the base game. You play as Agent Kiran Estevez as she investigates a disturbance at the facility. What horrors await within remain to be seen, but Remedy has confirmed that this DLC will establish a closer connection between Alan Wake 2 and the Remedy Connected Universe. As a result, this expansion will be a treat for Alan Wake and Control fans alike.
While Remedy hasn't given any specifics yet, they did announce that some quality-of-life updates will be included with the release of The Lake House. So, even players who don't own the Deluxe Edition will have something to look forward to when The Lake House releases on October 22nd.
