Alan Wake 2 is the return to Bright Falls fans have wanted since the original. This time, Remedy has stepped into the realm of straight-up survival horror. Players can expect to solve many puzzles that would feel right at home in the Resident Evil series.

Saga Anderson will come across areas called "Overlaps." These are places where her story crosses over with Alan's. Players will have to complete a ritual to activate the Overlap and complete the level. Saga will investigate the small town of Watery during the Return 3: Local Girl chapter. Players need to complete a ritual involving the Deerfest parade float to progress. Follow this walkthrough to find every item and finish the parade float in Alan Wake 2.

Item List

After Saga has discovered the Cult's headquarters in Watery she needs to activate the Overlap to continue. Fight the strong taken to escape the warehouse and inspect the parade float. Turn around and inspect the list of missing items on the nearby work table.

The player needs to find these items to finish the parade float. Make sure to place the item clues on the case board, so they can be picked up throughout the Coffee World amusement park.

Puukko(Knife) Location

The Puukko Knife can be found at the gift shop Saga had to break into earlier to find the trailer key. Head back into Coffee World and watch out for taken enemies as they tend to respawn on the path.

There is no real knife, so the toy knife in the gift shop will have to do. Look for the small display to the right of the safe area to grab it.

Cassette Tape Location

The float needs spooky laughter of some kind. Go to the Fair Trade Fun Zone section of Coffee World to hear someone laughing.

Down at the end of the row of tents is a Mr. Drippy cardboard cut out. Find the cassette tape stuck to the back of it.

Circuit Board Location

The float needs a circuit board so the characters move. Head to the Espresso Express ride to find it.

Go to the right side of the ride and hit the button to turn it on. There is an empty spot on the ride missing a coffee thermos. Press the button again when the empty slot is in front of Saga. This should stop the ride at the right time, so she can drop beneath it. Turn around and crouch underneath the wooden floor to reach the Circuit Board.

Mask Location

The mask has no location mentioned on the list, so it's time to enter Saga's Mind Place.

Go to the profiling desk and select the Koskelas. Click on the "Moose Skull Mask" note, and they will point towards the Deputies. Go to the Deputies profile and click on the "Moose Skull Mask" note, followed by "The Moose Skull Mask! Where is it?"

The moose mask skull will appear at the haunted Huotari well. Pick it up and haul it back to the murderer on the parade float. Place all the items on the Deerfest float to confront the Deputies.
