Before setting up a skirmish, fans will want to tweak the Game options in Age of Mythology: Retold so that once a match starts, it'll immediately behave according to their preferences. From the Main Title Screen, gamers will want to open the menu on the top right corner of the screen and select Settings.

In the Game tab, players can modify certain camera and notifications options but the most important section here is the Gameplay section. Here, players can toggle the following options on and off:

  • Immediately auto-queue Villagers at the start of the game
  • Immediately auto-train Villagers in newly built Town Centers
  • Allow Villager priority

In this menu, gamers can also select the default unit stance from aggressive to defense, no attack, or stand ground.

Scroll down below to the Other section to toggle auto-save on or off.
