There are various Pantheons to explore in Age of Mythology: Retold and it's important to understand how each of them works not only to be able to play as a certain civilization but to be prepared to go up against them. When choosing the Atlanteans, you'll need to keep in mind several details, such as which of the Major Gods you wish to worship, which Minor Gods you select as you progress through the ages, and the quirks of this Titan-led army.
Age of Mythology: Retold - How to Earn Favor
Favor generation differs for each civilization in Age of Mythology: Retold - here's how it works.
To help you get started with the Atlantean Pantheon in Age of Mythology: Retold, we'll tell you what each of the three Atlantean Gods bonuses are, explain the unique abilities available to your army, and go over the entire tech tree for each God's faction. We'll also provide some tips and tricks to keep your civilization from collapsing under enemy pressure.
How to Play as the Atlanteans in Age of Mythology
There are three major Atlantean deities to select upon starting a game as the Atlanteans: Kronos, Oranos, and Gaia. Minor Gods include Prometheus, Leto, and Oceanus in the Classical Age, Hyperion, Rheia, and Theia in the Heroic Age, and Helios, Atlas, and Hekate in the Mythic Age. You can also summon a Titan in the Wonder Age. Earning favor will be key to your success, as your choice of deities that you worship will give you unique upgrades and myth units to bolster your forces. There are three main gimmicks that all the Atlantean Gods share:
Atlantean Villager Units
Citizens - which is what Atlantean villager units are called in Age of Mythology - are expensive and take longer to train but gather materials much faster. In addition, they don't need to drop off the goods they harvest before you can use them, so you may find resources are depleted faster as they're incredibly efficient. You'll probably find that you need to autoqueue citizens a little less with this faction, but it's handy to know either way.
Atlantean Hero units
Another Atlantean perk is that, while they don't have dedicated heroes to train, they can upgrade any infantry, cavalry, or ranged human unit to become heroes instead. There isn't a limit on how many units can become heroes, except that it's expensive to do as the cost is for each unit promoted. However, heroes are far more durable and effective against myth units.
Atlantean Oracle Units
When playing with an Atlantean Major God, you gain favor by training Oracles. When standing still, their visibility range will increase over time, and they'll gain more favor the longer they stay in one place. However, if any of their worship ranges are too close to each other, only one will get any favor. To combat this, you need to move them as far away as possible, trying to keep them out of harm's way.
Atlantean Minor Gods
There are three Major Gods available, but each one can only give you a choice between two Minor Gods per Age:

Atlantean Unique Units
Advancing through the Age of Mythology: Retold Ages will let you choose gods to get access to unique upgrades and construction options. However, there are many more units and buildings to train or build respectively, no matter which of the Atlantean Pantheon gods you pick. Additionally, none of these units are typically available for any other Pantheon but will fulfill a similar purpose. Here are all the different unique troops available to the Atlanteans, their costs, and if they're effective against other unit types:
