8 Fay
An Underwhelming Healer

Fay can be used to both heal and buff her team. This can make her useful in battles to ensure her team stays alive, while also giving them the chance to deal more damage to an enemy. However, despite her playing a dual Support role, her output for both healing and buffing is quite underwhelming.
Though Fay can be useful to players at the beginning of the game, once they get a better Support character, she won't be of much use. Her Skills will only restore a small amount of HP in comparison to others, and she buffs only a small percent of ATK and Vitality, without offering much else of value.
7 Niru
A Healer With Potential

Niru is a Support character who has the potential to be an incredible healer. Not only can he make a team member essentially immortal, he can also deal a decent amount of damage from his Soul Reaping Skill, with additional damage reaching up to 600 percent. However, even though his Ultimate can save allies, it has a lot of issues that come along with it.
For players who have not successfully unlocked Niru's Exclusive Weapon, his Ultimate will cause more harm than good. Although his Ultimate will change a team member into a Spirit and restore their HP by 45 percent of its maximum, they will slowly lose an increasing amount of HP every second, and they can only deal 45 percent of their damage. Niru's Exclusive Weapon fixes these issues, but it just isn't worth the time and effort to obtain.
6 Damian
A Great, But Restrained All-Rounder

Damian is a great all-rounder for players to use as they get further into AFK Journey. His Skills are quite varied, allowing him to heal, increase ATK and Haste, restore Energy, and Blind enemies, rendering them immobile for a short period of time. Damian is a solid choice to place in a team, although he could certainly be better.

Similar to Niru, Damian will only start to shine once gamers unlock his Exclusive Weapon. With it, Damian will be able to enhance the team's Haste, as well as heal any allies within 2 tiles. He can serve as a decent Support even without having his Exclusive Weapon equipped, but fans will find better options that can be powerful right at their base levels.
5 Hewynn
A Top-Tier Healer

Hewynn has the highest base Healing stat out of all the Support characters. She can easily revive team members on the verge of falling in battle, while also protecting them by decreasing the amount of damage they take. Hewynn has incredible staying power as well, with chances being high that she will be the last of the team to fall.
It's highly recommended to add Hewynn to a team, but she can stumble a bit early in the game. It takes a while for her to build up her Ultimate, which can end up making it useless to team members who need healing immediately. However, she will improve greatly as fans get further in the game, when they can start by pairing her with an additional Support. Bringing along a powerful DPS as well, such as a Marksman or Warrior, will ensure her abilities don't go to waste.
4 Rowan
Fantastic At Restoring Energy

- Base Healing at Level 240: 26.7
Energy is a stat that is a lot more important than most players might think. Having enough Energy in the team ensures that each character can perform their Ultimate and finish off enemies with ease. Rowan is a great Support for restoring Energy consistently and quickly, and he also provides some healing and a few useful buffs, such as increased Phys DEF and Magic DEF.
The only issue with Rowan is that he must be paired with another Support to be truly effective. This is due to the fact that he mostly focuses on restoring Energy, while his healing abilities are a bit lackluster. Although he is limited in this respect, he is still an incredibly useful and powerful team member to have on any team, and he can also increase his Haste to allow him to complete his Ultimate swiftly as well.
3 Smokey & Meerky
The Perfect Dream Realm Support

Smokey & Meerky are a great team, providing significant healing to the rest of their allies, recovering Energy consistently, and giving a large buff to the team's ATK. Overall, having Smokey & Meerky in the mix will ensure that any player's team can quickly and easily finish off their opponents.

Smokey & Meerky are one of the best Supports in the Dream Realm as well, and are especially useful against King Croaker and Skyclops. Their only downside is that their Special Aroma, from their Ultimate, has a very limited range, only reaching 2 tiles from their location. As players level up Smokey & Meerky, however, that range will increase by a small amount.
2 Koko
An Incredible Life-Saver

Koko is a surprisingly powerful Support character, despite being an A-Level Hero. She has a wide range of abilities, including DMG Reduction, HP Recovery, increasing the team's Life Drain and ATK, giving the team a Shield, and much more. With Koko on the team, other characters will surely be protected and buffed significantly.
Since Koko is an A-Level Hero, it's be much easier to ascend her and level her up. Once players get her to her Supreme+ level, she is essentially unstoppable. She can now increase an ally's Vitality as well, and will have an increased Haste stat, allowing her to perform her Skills more frequently. Fans of AFK Journey will definitely want to choose Koko to quickly ascend and level up with Hero Essence.
1 Reinier
Powerful From The Get-Go

For anyone looking for a Support to take on Story Mode and the Dream Realm with ease, Reinier is their best option. He can simultaneously buff the rest of the team, while debuffing enemies across from players. He can also reposition some team members, and drain an enemy's HP to restore an ally. Reinier will also replenish the team's Energy and increase their ATK, while he himself deals impressive damage to enemies.
In terms of debuffing, Reinier can increase an enemy's damage taken, reduce their ATK by up to 12%, and send them to another dimension to deal massive damage to them, up to 500 percent. Overall, Reinier has everything one could ever need in a Support, with impressive stats to ensure the team has great survivability. He will not only excel in Story Mode, but he can also be quite useful in the Dream Realm, especially since his Ultimate focuses on one enemy at a time.
