Grabbing The Ladder
- There are no pinfalls or submissions in a Ladder Match, and the only way to win is to climb the ladder and grab the casino token.
- Wear down the AEW wrestler before attempting to get a ladder from the ringside.
- Stand near the ropes and hold down the B button on Xbox, Circle on PlayStation, A on Switch, and L on a keyboard to slide out of the ring.
- Stand over the ladder and press RT/R2/RZ/T on the keyboard to pick up the ladder.
- The ladder can be used as a weapon in AEW Fight Forever by pressing the strike buttons X and Y on an Xbox. Square and Triangle on the PlayStation. Y and X on Switch, or I and J on a keyboard.
- Slamming opponents on the ladder will do more damage.
- Throw the ladder into the ring by pressing the LT/L2/LZ/N on a keyboard. Or use B/Circle/A/L to climb into the ring with the ladder in hand.

- Players can also fight them on the ladder by running up the opposite side to strike and grab them. However, if the opponent wins the exchange, they have more time to reach for the token and win.
