How to Find Weapons in AEW Fight Forever
AEW Fight Forever has two methods for players to retrieve weapons. However, using them in a regular exhibition match will result in a disqualification. Use the following steps to ensure weapons can be used in wrestling matches without limitations:
- Select an exhibition bout that has no DQ by default. These matches are the Lights Out Match, Falls Count Anywhere, 3-Way, 4-Way, and the Ladder Match in AEW Fight Forever.
- Lights Out Matches will begin with weapons in the ring.
- To obtain more weapons, climb inside and outside the ring. Press LT on Xbox, L2 on PlayStation, LZ on Switch, or N on a keyboard. Alternatively, hold down the run and directional buttons with B/Circle/A/L on a keyboard to slide under the ropes.
- Press RT/R2/RZ/F on the keyboard to grab weapons from the guard rail near the crowd or the ring apron.
- With a weapon in hand, press the strike buttons with X and Y, Square and Triangle, or Y and I on a keyboard to attack.
Using a Championship Belt as Weapon
Championship belts can be used as a weapon in a wrestling match. However, only title holders can grab them from the crowd or underneath the ring. Their opponents can use the belt as a weapon after they have been dropped anywhere in the arena.
How to Use a Table in AEW Fight Forever
In Lights Out Matches, there will be tables scattered around ringside; the tables can also be grabbed from the crowd and from under the ring. To put an opponent through the table in AEW Fight Forever, use the following steps:
- Grab the table with the action button RT/R2/RZ/F on the keyboard.
- Press the action button again to set the table up.
- Grab the opponent with the A button on Xbox; X on PlayStation; B on Switch; or K on a keyboard.
- Perform an Irish Whip with the B/Circle/A/L on a keyboard to place the opponent on the table.
- Players can perform diving moves through the table by pressing the action button in the corner and the strike button to perform a diving attack.
- Springboard attacks through the table can also be used by pressing A and X on Xbox; X and Square on PlayStation; Y and B on Switch; or I and K on the keyboard.
- Moves like suplexes, slams, and Powerbombs can put opponents through tables.
- Tables can also be set up in corners by pressing the action button near a corner with a table in hand.
How to Use Thumbtacks in AEW Fight Forever
The most violent weapons in the game are the thumbtacks (pins in the UK). They will immediately make the opponent bleed, get the most significant reactions from the crowd, and likely lead to the secret 7-star match achievement in AEW Fight Forever. Finding the thumbtacks bag is random, so it may not happen every match. However, alternating between the audience and underneath the ring will lead to a better chance of finding them and other weapons in AEW Fight Forever. Use the following steps to utilize thumbtacks in a match:
- When the player's wrestler has found a bag of thumbtacks bag, press the action button with RT/R2/RZ/F to empty the tacks on the floor.
- Every attack, slam, signature, and finisher onto the thumbtacks causes extra damage and bleeding with the correct settings in AEW Fight Forever.
- Holding the action button on a downed opponent will drag them through the tacks.
- Players can also position their opponents using the grab and the R stick to move them over the thumbtacks, ready for a slam.
