Beloved theme park and global attractions YouTuber Adam the Woo was found deceased in his home in Orlando, Florida on Monday, December 22, after the Osceola County Sheriff's Office was called to perform a wellness check and discovered the content creator unresponsive. Adam the Woo, also known as The Daily Woo on YouTube, was best-known for his influence on theme park vlogging, urban exploration content, and pop culture fandom. Adam the Woo was 51 years old at the time of his death.

According to a statement made by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office to TMZ, police officers had attempted to make contact with Woo around 12:24pm on the 22nd but did not receive an answer at the door. Later that same afternoon at 2:53pm, the Sheriff's Office received a call "for an unattended death," prompting police to return to the home and attempt to use a ladder to enter the domicile through an upper window. The officer who climbed the ladder looked through a third floor window and saw Woo lying motionless on his bed, prompting authorities to enter the home with the assistance of Fire Rescue services. Woo was pronounced dead at the scene, and a medical examiner is due to perform an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.

It was not until several hours later that the Osceola County Sheriff's Office released its official statement to TMZ confirming the death, though an earlier claim of a heart attack being the cause of death remains unconfirmed by authorities at the time of writing.
